OQ, alongside subsidiaries OQAE and MAJIS, inks strategic renewable-energy agreements worth over USD 2 billion to accelerate Oman's clean-energy transition
OQ, the global energy investment group, has signed thirteen strategic renewable energy agreements totaling more than $2 billion during Oman Sustainability Week 2025, demonstrating its leadership in energy sector transformation and national sustainability efforts. The signings took place in the presence of key strategic partners and senior representatives from the investing companies.

OQ Exploration and Production Shares Listed on Muscat Stock Exchange as the largest listed company
The Muscat Stock Exchange (MSX) celebrated the listing of OQ Exploration and Production’s (OQEP) shares on 28 October 2024, marking the commencement of public trading following an Initial Public Offering (IPO) of 25% of the company’s share capital. With a market capitalization of more than OMR 3 billion, OQEP has become the largest company listed on the MSX and the first exploration and production company to achieve this. This milestone reflects efforts to diversify the MSX offerings and include key players from across Oman’s economic sectors.
OQ Breaks Ground on Strategic Fuel Storage Project in Musandam

Parties comprising OQ Alternative Energy (OQAE) - an OQ Group company, Dutco, Sumitomo Corporation Middle East FZE, Automobili Lamborghini S.p.A and Airbus have formed the OSCAR (Oman Sustainable Cars and Aviation Refuelling) consortium with the aim to study the potential of Oman to produce e-gasoline and e-SAF (Sustainable Aviation Fuels).
